The Village of Coldwater has all the amenities needed to satisfy locals, seasonal residents, visitors and tourists alike. Just a one minute walk from downtown, The Arena is named the Coldwater Community Centre and provides Free Parking and Public Washrooms. It is the home of the Hockey Rink, Public Skating, Figure Skating Club, and facilitates as an Agriculture Exhibit Hall during the Coldwater Fall Fair. The Village Players host Spring & Fall Sell-out Theatre upstairs, in the full service Banquet Hall.
Behind the Arena is the Coldwater Curling Club. Home ice of Olympic Champion Glen Howard. To the north is the Fire Department, go east and you will find the entrance to the Uhthoff trail that leads to Orillia. Don't forget to stop in at our bowling alley for a little fun. Laundry services are also available at the alley.
The Library, Royal Canadian Legion and Post Office are located in front of the Arena and will lead you to the heart of the Village.
There you will find Barber Shops, Hair Salons, a Chiropractor, Mortgage Broker office, a Denture Clinic, Rental shop and Real Estate Brokers to name a few. The Shell Gas Station and LCBO are located near the entrance to the Fairgrounds. Authentic Main Street Coldwater (Coldwater Rd.) is home to most of the shops and services located in the Village of Coldwater.
The Coldwater Funeral Home, Beer Store, Dental Office and Professional Building, Coldwater Auto Parts, Dehaan Mechanical and Bailey's Woodworking are located on Sturgeon Bay Rd.
The village has two rental store locations - one at the four corners of town and the other just up the way across from the boat warehouse.
The Government Dock, Pharmacy, Medical Centre and Amtelecom Office (over 100 years old) can be found on River St. heading towards Upper Big Chute Road towards Severn Falls.
